Samin Davoody

Samin is a 5th-year medical student at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, one of the top medical universities in Iran. Her favorite field of research , which she aspires to pursue after graduating with her MD, is Translational Neuroscience. Accordingly, she has collaborated with several research projects as a research assistant both in Iran and abroad. For the most recent project, she worked as a research intern in the Department of Pharmacology of the University of Milan, Italy, where she worked on synaptic failure in Alzheimer's disease using wet lab techniques and confocal microscopy.
