Liam Cooper-Brown

MD/CM | PGY1 Neurology

Liam Cooper-Brown joined the University of Toronto as a resident physician in Neurology in 2023. Prior to this, he received his Doctor of Medicine degree from McGill University, where he investigated the clinical and neuroanatomic features of epilepsy-associated neuropsychiatric disorders under the supervision of Dr. Eliane Kobayashi and with support from the American Academy of Neurology. He also has experience as a co-investigator across multiple initiatives in health science education scholarship and with scientific research into cognition, gait, and healthy aging. Liam has been recognised as a leader in promoting engagement with neurosciences and scientific research among medical trainees. His current clinical and research interests include neurophysiology, stroke, neurointensive care, behavioural neurology, and health equity.
